Harold Matos is the driving force behind Risk Takers, an entrepreneurial media platform spotlighting the bold journeys of Southwest Florida’s entrepreneurs, visionaries, and community leaders.

His story is one of reinvention and resilience. Arriving in the United States as a non-English-speaking immigrant, Harold built his name in Southwest Florida’s nightlife scene, earning recognition throughout the 2010s as a respected
legacy promoter. When the COVID-19 pandemic
disrupted the industry, he saw it not as
an ending, but as an opportunity
to pivot toward greater purpose.

Driven by a passion for financial empowerment and community growth, Harold transitioned into education. Since 2021, he has led financial literacy initiatives at universities and financial institutions, helping individuals and families gain the tools to build long-term financial confidence and security.

Through Risk Takers, Harold now facilitates raw, unfiltered conversations with business leaders, changemakers, and everyday people who are betting on themselves and building something
meaningful in Southwest Florida.

He works closely with individuals, families, and business owners to help them protect what matters most through informed, personalized coverage.

Brian is also the founder of Gulf Coast Leisure, a lifestyle-driven brand centered on connection, opportunity, and enjoying life along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Known for simplifying complex decisions and leading with integrity, Brian brings a client-first approach rooted in trust, clarity, and genuine care for the people he serves.

Known for his calm presence on set and attention to detail, Damon is a trusted creative partner for entrepreneurs and brands who value authenticity. When the cameras are rolling, his focus is simple: capturing the moment exactly as it happens.

Carmen Mendez is the Social Media Manager for Risk Takers, overseeing the brand’s digital presence and day-to-day content strategy across platforms. She works closely with the team to shape how conversations, clips, and moments are shared with the community in a way that feels authentic and intentional.
In addition to managing social media, Carmen also supports content production behind the scenes as a camera operator, helping capture interviews, events, and real-time moments that fuel the brand’s storytelling. With a strong eye for detail and a pulse on audience engagement, she bridges content creation and distribution - ensuring what’s filmed actually connects once it goes live.
